# Protected Users

To set up start by selecting the Protected Users tab on your Vulcan dashboard. This is located at the top left side of the dashboard under the Verify Roles category.

Next, select Add New at the top right.

Following this go to Discord and right-click Copy User ID of the user you want to be exempt from role removal. Below is an example.

Finally, paste and save the User ID.

Now in the Admin Dashboard, you can see and manage all users added to this list.

## Discord Setup

To set up an ignore through Discord commands. Use `!vprotect @user` . You can tag as many people as you need to in one command. Example flow below.
